Age 7 to 14:
Classical training from age 7 to 14, played first chair trumpet in a symphony orchestra. Big Band Jazz in college and music theory training.

Age 16 to present:

Guitar, Keyboards, Vocals, Songwriting.

39 original recorded songs. Additional compositions of synthesized keyboards and accompanying instrumentation.

CD:
Two Current projects, twelve original songs written and produced by Gene Elson. Lead vocal, harmony vocals and guitars and bass and synthesizer. Second CD consisting of synthesized keyboards and accompanying instrumentation.

Production Company:

Owner of Whispering Winds Productions and Recording, 16 track recording music production.

Recording Credits:

  • 1994 Recorded a three song demo with Joe Walshs' Bass player Rick the Bass Player, all songs written by Gene Elson.

  • 1995 Recorded a 10 song CD with Quincy Jones' Guitar player, Beppe Cantarelli. All songs written by Gene Elson.

  • 1998 Organized and produced a John Denver Tribute Concert for the town of Parker, Colorado. Lead vocals and guitar by Gene Elson. Numerous paid recording projects for artists in conjunction with Whispering Winds Productions and Recording.
